About
Ziv
I hope you enjoy the parts and accessories that are
available on this site. As you may notice, most of the products
are geared toward the Yamaha V-Star, but can fit, or be modified to fit,
most metric bikes. Except for the Seat/Pillion Bullet and the Chrome
License Frame, everything is made, or designed, in my small shop in
Bend, Oregon. I fabricate everything myself, sometimes with the help of my young
son, Bryan.
Please understand that this is a one man
dog and pony show. If I am working in the shop, I am not shipping. If I
am shipping, I'm not in the shop or answering emails. I do many things
well, but not at the same time. On the bright side, if something goes
wrong it is easy to find the culprit.
I have tried to keep the prices of all my items as reasonable as possible.
Nothing fancy ....just "Practical Parts at Practical Prices".
Communication
If you have a
question, don't hesitate to send me a note. I try to answer every email
in a timely manner. My phone number is on each page. Feel free to give
me a call at any reasonable hour.
Shipping
Side-Mounts
and Peg/Floorboard Extensions are shipped via
USPS Priority Mail. Delivery times are
reasonable, but not super fast......packages usually take 4-6 business
days to arrive at their destination. Small items ship via the U.S Postal
Service and go out the day after payment is received...sometimes the
same day.
About foreign orders: Shipping
prices calculated on the web pages are based on shipping to the Lower 48
US States. Please call or send an email for rates to your country
before you order. I use USPS Global Express for shipping outside the
US. It is a little pricey but saves folks in many countries UPS
brokerage fees. You can also choose USPS Global Priority Mail, but you
own it once it leaves my door. If a non-US order is received without the
correct postage it will sit here until I hear from you. If a note or
telephone call is not received from you within 14 days these funds will
be donated to LIVESTRONG - The Lance Armstrong Foundation. Please
don't ask for a refund.
Satisfaction
If you're not happy, I'm
not happy. If you have a problem, let me know. We'll work it out.
About the Cruise Control
This is a great little
device and works on the premise of applying friction to the throttle
grip to override spring tension. I wish I could take credit for the
design. This clever piece was originated by Brad Kauffman and published
on his site as a "Do It Yourself" project. I built one and loved it.
Folks asked me where I got it and after reviewing the instructions,
realized they did not have the tools necessary to complete the build or
were unable to locate all the small, stainless steel parts. At this
point, I have fabricated and sold about 400 of these beauties. If you
have basic mechanical skills, this is a no-brainer to install, but it is
not "plug and play".
Custom Work
If you have an idea or a
special project, send me a note. All things are possible.
